An enlightened being or self-aware person  does not fear death because they know  that death is not the end of life,  but rather a new phase and a fresh  beginning in the soul's journey. 🔯 What is the Soul (Ātman)? What is the Supreme Soul (Paramātman)? The Soul (Ātman): The soul is generally referred to as an invisible entity that resides independently within the human body. According to the Bhagavad Gita (2.20): Sanskrit Verse: न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचि- न्नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूयः । अजो नित्यः शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो- न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे ॥ Transliteration: Na jāyate mriyate vā kadāchin- Nāyaṁ bhūtvā bhavitā vā na bhūyaḥ। Ajo nityaḥ śāśvato'yaṁ purāṇo- Na hanyate hanyamāne śarīre।। Meaning in English: “This soul is neither born nor does it ever die, nor having once existed, does it cease to be. However, some general signs are given below— When one attains God:— 1. Simply uttering the Lord’s name brings forth tears, a choked voice, and a body overwhelmed with ecstatic emotions.  2.Ego will dissolve.  Unbroken peace and bliss will be experienced. 3."You will experience boundless love and compassion.
